I’m writing this with a mix of excitement, nerves, and a little what the hell am I doing energy… because this Friday, I’m hosting my very first This Mother Means Business live event.
An actual, in-person, women-in-the-room, energy-you-can-feel kind of day.
And it’s bringing up a lot.
I’ll share more on the podcast soon — because what I’ve been moving through behind the scenes deserves a mic and some real talk.
But for now, I’ll just say this:
I love routines. I love knowing what to expect. I love being cozy in my hoodie, coffee in hand, coaching from my office with my dog at my feet.
But I also know…
That’s not where the magic lives.
Magic shows up when we stretch.
When we put ourselves out there before we feel 100% “ready.”
When we follow the whisper that says, This matters.
This event? It matters.
It’s about more than business strategy or productivity hacks or learning the latest IG algorithm (we will NOT be doing that).
It’s about connection.
Clarity.
And reminding ourselves that we’re not in this alone.
If you’ve been dreaming of stepping into something bigger — but it feels stretchy and terrifying and “who do I think I am?” — just know: I’m right there with you.
This week, I’ll be rehearsing.
Overthinking my outfit.
Probably crying in the shower once or twice.
And also?
Feeling so damn proud.
Because this is the business I chose to build.
One that makes space for my full self.
One that lets me stretch and stumble and still show up anyway.
